内容 研究概要:Indonesia is under influence of dry and rainy seasons. This year due to El-Nino, the dry season lasted longer than unusual, so that the forest fire that happened naturally and inflicted by human went out of control. In order to handle the fire effectively, an accurate and real time information is necessary. Based on The measurement using the advanced very high resolution radiometer data from NOAA satelite, show that, the hot spots started on mars in Sumatra, in kalimantan, sulawesi and the other island on may. The area affected by burning related to the length of the dry season, so that The hot spots tended on increase maximum on the late September and after that tended on decrease. Beside that, the monitoring of haze caused by forest fire has been conducted by LAPAN using NOAA-AVHRR and QMS satellite data. In this paper presented the monitoring hot spots daily and distribution of haze has been done by LAPAN (National aeronautic and space institute Indonesia)
