内容 研究概要:This paper describes an iterative method for extracting single-scattering contributions in the retrieval of aerosol extinction profiles from lidar signals. The iterative procedure is formulated by use of the Klett solution with introducing a multiple-scattering ratio as a correction factor, which is calculated by the Monte Carlo method. The numerical results of the difference between the total optical thickness from single and total scattering are used as a criterion of the convergence, leading to precise determination of extinction coefficient profiles. The iterative method is applied to an experimental signal observed by a multi-wavelength lidar
