内容 In my country the Learning of Inquiry has been emphasized since the modernization of American science education. These education method was carried out in the lower and upper secondary school, but there was some difficulties in the class teaching. In the early stage of American modernization, the inquiry considered as the method when scientist were adopted to study for science. Scientists formulated hypotheses, then they planned the examinations, observations and experiments for the tests of their hypotheses. They studied in the effort of trial and error. Finally they cleared the rules of correspondence between the causes and effects. The learning of inquiry should to adopt these scientist's methods. Since AAAS anounced a process approach, the process skills have been emphasized in the class teaching of my country. These enforcements were not always adequate in the real education. So, auther now proposed the active use of scientific history which scientists had studied for solving of their scientific themes. Partly, this proposal was standing with the examples of BSCS textbboks and Teacher's handbook by J. J. Schwab. I have some expectations by active use of scientific history on the science education in futnre.
