内容 The purpose of the study is to investigate and analyze how high school biology II textbooks describe and illustrate evolution of organisms. For the content analysis, 90 categories of evolutionary content was used. And for the structural analysis, the ISM (Interpretive Structural Modeling)-method was employed. The results of content analysis found out that some categories were not described by all of 5 textbooks. No textbook, for example, described "rate of speaciation" (i.e., gradualism, punctuated equilibrium, or mosaic evolution). Each textbook described categories of evolutionary contents differently. The results of ISM-method analysis demonstrated similar macro structural characteristics but different central and order of concepts. For example, this study found out that only one out of 5 textbooks introduced "the diversity of life" in the first and was ranked as one of the fundamental/central element.
