Stduies on the Electric Current of the Skin of Marin and Fresh Water Fishes

内容 1. I examined the concentration and salt effects on the skin of marine and fresh water fishes. 2. Looking at the π-logC curve of the marine fish skin, its surface seems to have a tendenecy to be more positive, depending on the increase of density of the test-fluid. 3. marine fish, the surface of the skin becomes electrically more negative, according to the increase of the testfluid-concentration. The π-logC curve on this occasion looks also nearly like a straight line. 4. The frog skin surface, according to Prof. Hashida becomes more negative just like the fresh water fish's skin, as the density of the testfluid increases. Near a concentration point of 1/4 m., the negative reaches its maximum and becomes more condensed in its reversed state. 5. The concentration effect on the skin current of the marine and fresh water fish show reverse inclination. I suppose that the cause of this concentration effect lies in the ecological difference, that comes from the influence on the organization and function of the skin.
