内容 To ascertain whether the neuronal interaction on a developed accessory olfactory bulb in turtle was similar to that of a main olfactory bulb, evoked potentials which were caused by an electrical stimulation delivered to the vomeronasal nerve or the olfactory tract were analysed. Evoked potentials were consisted with three components, T wave, N_1 (n_1) wave and N_2 (n_2) wave, which corresponded to excitation of the vomeronasal nerve, mitral cells and granule cells respectively. Reversion in polarity of each wave component was coincident with the laminar formation of each neuronal group and neuronal connection. An inhibitory action of several neuronal groups was supposed from the relation between a decrease of each component's amplitude and a stimulus interval in a paired stimulation. A reciprocal excitatory and inhibitory interaction was also confirmed from an alternating response to repetitive stimulation. As a consequence, it was confirmed that the neuronal interaction on the accessory bulb was fundamentally much the same to the main bulb.
