百合の土壤温度と濕度の影響   :   The effects of the temperature and humidity of the soil on the lily.

内容 本実験は百合の生育適地に関する基礎的研究の一部である士壤温度と, 湿度の適否を判定するために行ったものである。土壤温度は30℃, 20℃, 10℃自然区に分ってCroft lilyを用い, また土壤湿度は粘質壤土を用い, 40%, 30%, 20%に区別して黒軸鉄砲百合とCroft lilyを用いた。なお火山灰質壤土では, 65%, 50%, 35%区とし, 次の実験結果を得た。A.土壤温度の高低の場合に次の結果を得た。1.地温の高い30℃より20℃の場合生育は優れ, 10℃以下になると甚だしく遅延する。2.定植から開花迄の日数は, 地温の高い30℃が早かったが草丈は低い。3.旧鱗片の消費は30℃のものが早く, 新鱗片の形成は20℃が優れ, 低温は不良である。4.葉面積と重量は20℃区が葉枚数と共に優れ, 球根の重量増加率と肥大率との関係は明かでなかったが自然状態の変温は不良であった。B.土壤湿度の多少による場合次の結果を得た。1.花茎の生育は, 壤土でも粘壤土でも共に中湿区が旺盛であった。2.両品種共葉数, 開花数, 花の大きさ, 開花期は生育度に正比例して中湿区が優れている。3.球根の重量増加率と肥大率は, 黒軸鉄砲百合では, 火山灰質壤土において65%位, 粘質壤土では30位が適当しているが, Croftでは, 粘壤土の40%が良好であった。
This experiment is part of the basic investigation of the soil for bringing up lilies, and it was to examine what is the best temperature and humidity of soil. The temperature is classified into groups; 30℃, 20℃, 10℃. The croft lily was used. The soil used was clayly soil 40%, 30%, 20%, Lilium longiflorum var. gigantum and croft lily were used. Besides Volcanic ashsoil 65%, 50%, 30%, were used for comparison. (A) The effects from the temperature of soil are as follows:- 1. The plant will grow very well in the temperature 30℃-20℃, but very slow is the temperature lower than 10℃. 2. The days taken from planting till flowering were fewer but the plant was smaller. 3. The expenditure of the old scales was faster in 30℃. The growth of new scales was better in 20℃ and worse in lower temperature. 4. The bredth of the leaves and their weight were more in 20℃, but the relation between the ratis of increase of weight and their growth was not clearly seen. (B) The effects caused by humidity are as follows:- 1. The growth of stems was most excellent in medium humidity. 2. In medium humidity both kinds showed excellent effects in proportion to their growth, in their number of leaves and flowers, and the size of flowers during their flowering time. 3. As to the ratio of increasing of bulbs and their growth volcanic ash (65%) and clay (30%) were fit very well for L. longiflorum var. gigantvm, but clay (40%) was much better for the croft.
