枇杷の隔年結果に関する研究 : 第1報 結果枝の強弱・結果量と新梢の生長及び花房の着生との関係   :   Studies on Alternate Bearing of the Loquat-tree. : (1) Vigor of Bearing Shoot and the Amount of Fruit-thinning in Relation to the Growth of Shoot and Flower Bud Formation.

内容 1.枇杷の隔年結果を防止する技術を確立するための資料を得る目的で, 昭和31〜33年の3ヵ年間にわたり, 結果枝の強さ別に, 一結果枝当りの結果数を異にする場合の, 結果枝の果実の採収痕より萠出する新梢の数, 伸長状態, 花房着生率を調査した.なお, 葉内窒素含量の差異をも検討した.2.供試品種は田中, 茂木の2品種とし, 本学付属農場果樹園の成木につき, 強勢な結果枝(S)と弱勢な結果枝(W)とに分け, 着果数を0, 1, 3, 5とした.3.結果枝の果実採収痕から萠出する新梢の数はおおむねS_0>W_0>S_1>W_1>S_3>W_3の順であるが, 生育初期にはその差が顕著であるが, 時期がすすむにつれて差は少なくなる.しかし, 新梢の発育の程度は結果枝の強弱, 及び結果数に大きく左右される.4.花房の着生歩合は, 結果枝の強弱および結果数の多少と密接な関係を有ち, 結果枝の勢力が強大で, しかも摘果の程度が強い場合に, 花房の着生率が大となる.花房を着生する新梢は5, 6枚の葉をもち, 太さ5mm内外, 長さ3〜4cm以上で, 15g内外の重さをもつことが必要であると認められた.しかし, この数値は他の栄養条件によっても変化を示すものと考えられるので, この点については今後さらに検討の余地がある.5.結果枝の基部から萠出する新梢の葉の窒素含有量は, 結果枝の強弱, 一結果枝の摘果の程度と関係があるようにもみえるが, 明瞭な差異は認め難い.
The loquat-trees have an inclination of alternate bearing, for their branches bear clusters on their shoots. So, it is a very important problem to clear the relationship between the vigour and the number of bearing shoots and the shoots sprouted from the base of it. The above mentioned study has been undertaken to obtain the method by which to manage the bearing shoot, that is to say, to understand the amount of fruit thinning and the standard strength of bearing shoot. We investigated on two varieties, Tanaka and Mogi, which were cultivated in the orchard of our faculty. We classified them into two groups; those with strong bearing shoots (S) and those with weak ones (W). And each of them had different number of fruits bore on. We show them thus; S_0: no fruit on S. S_1: one fruit on S. S_3: three fruits on S. W_0: no fruit on W. W_1: one fruit on W. W_3: three fruits on W. The results are summarized as follows: 1. The number of shoots sprouted from each base of bearing branch shows next order. S_0>W_0>S_1>W_1>S_3>W_3 That is, strong bearing branch seems to sprout more shoot than weak one. 2. The vigour of shoot sprouted from base of bearing shoot is stronger at strong bearing shoot than at weak one. 3. The percentage of flower bud formation on shoot sprouted from bearing shoot is higher at strong bearing shoot and few or a number of fruits on it. 4. The results of leaf analysis on the content of nitrogen indicated no clear difference between them. 5. It will be necessary for us to clear the formation of flower bud in the case of the same number of shoots sprouted from the base of bearing branch.
