落花生の空莢に関する研究 : 第3報 土壤中の石灰含量と空莢の生成との関係   :   Researches on Unfilled Peanut Pods : (3) Correlation between Calcium Lebel of Soils and Formation of Unfilled Pods.

内容 (1)土壌中の石灰含量と落花生の空莢生成との関係を知るために, 千葉県下の落花生産地から空莢の生成の多い土壌と少ない土壌14点を採集して, 熱塩酸可溶石灰と置換性石灰を分析し, また塩基置換容量を測定した.熱塩酸可溶石灰量と塩基置換容量は空莢の生成の多い土壌と少ない土壌の間に関係は見られなかった.置換性石灰量と石灰飽和度は空莢の生成と密接な関係が認められた.空莢の生成の多い土壌と少い土壌の置換性石灰量の境は100gの乾土について約10mg当量のところにあった.石灰飽和度は空莢の生成の多い土壌は30%以下であり, 少ない土壌はこれ以上であった.(2)石灰の施用試験を空莢の生成の多い6ケ所の畑で行った.石灰は炭酸石灰を用い, その量は土壌中の置換性石灰と合せて100gの乾土につき大体11mg当量になるようにした.石灰によって僅に害を受けた1, 2の土壌を除いて, 石灰の施用は空莢の減少と収量増加に顕著な効果を齎らした.
1. For the purpose of finding out the relation between calcium level of soils and the formation of unfilled pods, 14 soils high and low in the production of unfilled pods were collected from peanut producing fields of chiba Prefecture and analyzed for the hot hydrochloric acid soluble calcium and exchangeable Calcium. The base exchange capacity of the soils was also measured. The amount of hot hydrochloric acid soluble calcium and the base exchange capacity of the soils showed no relation between the soils high in producing unfilled pods and soils low. The formation of unfilled pods was closely related to the exchangeable calcium level and the calcium saturation degree of the soils. The boundary of exchangeable calcium level between the soils high in producing unfilled pods and those low was about 10 me. per 100 grams of dry soil. The calcium saturation degree in thesoils high in producing unfilled pods was below 30 per cent, while in the soils low it was above this. 2. The liming test was carried out on 6 fields high in producing unfilled pods. Calcium carbonate was added, so that this, together with the original exchangeable calcium, would make the calcium level in the soils approximately 11 me. per 100 grams of dry. A marked decrease in the number of unfilled pods and a great increase in yields were obtained in every field through the addition of lime except one or two soils in which crops were sligh tly harmed by liming.
