内容 In the preceding reports on the control of the microclimate in the farm field, we have depicted the control of microclimate in the field by irrigation. In this report, also, we have made an obseration for the control of soil temperature by a high reflection of solar light and a poor heat conductivity on the surface of the egg plant field by soil surface coverages and have obtained following results. (1) We have designed four plots, as shown in Fig 1, in the farm field of our university. (2) Number of fruits harvested and their weight for every four plot were recorded by ten days and have shown in Fig.2 and Table 1. (3) Number of Fruit yield was different by plot as shown in Fig.3 which shows the variation of the values of the accumulated number of fruit yield every ten days. (4) The variation of soil moisture content and temperature change every ten days per plot during our observation period were shown in the Table 6 and 7. (5) The harvesting season and number of fruits harvested were different by every plot. We have got the most favourable results in the case of the sand cover plot, while, on the contrary we have unfavourable results in the case of the uncovered plot. (6) We could evaluate by our observation the effective temperature control by soil surface coverage, due to a poor heat conductivity in the soil and a high solar reflection fom the soil surface, as in the case of field irrigation.
