内容 The authors wrote the outline of tomato production and pointed out some problems for the development in the previous publication. Since that time. The authors have been engaged in surveying to solve these problems from the view point of production technic and input-output relations based on maintaining production. Followings are the summarized points that the authors have got. (1) In the suburban district like Kashiwa city, farmers are able to produce a lot of agricultural products, and there are many problems to carry on specialized farming. Therefore, the authors found the necessity to produce not one kind of a crop but a few in a farm. (2) It is likely to exchange the information on market, improved technics and village policy, among the staff of the farmers association, city office, extention workers and farmers. (3) The leaders of the village just like the staff of the farmers association, with the office and the extention worker should emphasize the condition of farming, especially of the farm labor and arable land, to develop agricultural production. (4) According to the analysis of the survey data the authors have got, there is a difference of ability to get the returns from farming. So the authors can recommend to level up the farming and cut down the charge of marketing.
