内容 本研究はビニールハウスに低温期に定植されたトマト並びにキウリの発育に及ぼす気温と地温の影響を知るために, 1959年から1961年にかけて行ったものである.結果は次の通りである.1トマトa)定植直後の生育は, 気温が高い時並びに地温が高い時に促進された.しかし定植後日がたつにつれて, 気温では, 夜間高温におかれた昼25℃, 夜8℃がよく, 地温では14℃が16℃よりよい結果を得た.b)地温が低い場合(10℃)は夜間の高気温(8℃)でよく, 逆に地温が高い場合(16℃)は夜間の低気温(3℃)でよい発育をした.c)昼間気温が高い場合(30℃), 地下部の発育がよくない.同様のことが昼間気温の低い場合(20℃)でも明かだった.d)夜間気温が低い場合(3℃), 地上部の発育は阻害された.e)地温及び夜の気温が高い場合は開花を促進し, 果の肥大を増進した.2キウリa)定植後のキウリの生育は地温が高いほどよく, 地温が低い場合は, 昼又は夜の高気温で発育は促進されている.また地温が高くなるに従つて気温の影響は少くなっている.b)地温・気温が高いほど, 雌花の開花は早く進み, 果の伸長は早く, 早期の収量は増加した.c)昼間気温が高い30〜5℃区では, 地下部の発育が悪く, 収量も劣り, 昼間気温の低い20〜5℃区でも地上部の伸長が十分でなかった.d)同様のことが夜の気温の低くすぎる, 25〜3℃区でもみられた.e)気温25〜5℃で地温14, 16℃区, 気温25〜8℃で地温14℃, 並びに気温25〜3℃で地温18℃程度が優れていた.
The optimum temperature for fruit vegetable culture has been evidenced gradually, while in some case of vinyl culture without heating, the temperature at the time of setting has become to the lowest limit. Espcially, immediately after the setting, it is far from the optimum temperature, and it seems that a slight differences in the lowest temperature at night have comparatively large effects in this case. Therefore questions occur what is the practical lowest limit of air and soil temperature, and whether it is allowable for the other one of pair to be not so much high when the air or soil temprature is elevated. In order to elucidate these points, experiments were carried out with tomato and cucumber from 1959 to 1961 changing the air as well as soil temperature after setting. Seedlings raised with the common method were setted in a vinyl house in which the air or soil temperature can be regulated separately. In the vinyl house vinyl tunnel was set up and the air temperature was controlled with the thermoregurator so as to get the aimed temperature. The soil temperature was regurated in such a way that seedlings were planted in a square can (capacity 9l) which was soaked in a water bath, the temperature of which can be controlled. 1) Tomato 5 sections of air temperature of under 25℃ at day and above 3℃ at night, simmilarly of 25〜5℃, 25〜8℃, 30〜5℃ and also of 20〜5℃ were provided, and to each them, soil temperatures, left free, the lowest temperature during night of 10℃, 12℃, 14℃ and 16℃, were imposed. The growth immidiately after setting was extremely promoted when both air and soil temperatures were high. But according as the time elapsed after setting, the air temperature of 25〜8℃ became favorable and the soil temperature of 14℃ was better than 16℃. In case of low soil temperature (10℃), high night air temperature (8℃) was good, and on the contrary, in case of high soil temperature (16℃), a good growth was found at low air temperature (3℃).
