内容 1 本実験は「育苗環境が果菜苗の乾物並びに炭水化物生産に及ぼす影響」の1部として行なわれたものである.2 葉における乾物または炭水化物増加の様相は, 育苗季節, 苗令, 葉位によつて異なり, 日射量の小さい季節に育苗された苗では, 苗令, 葉位のちがいによる差が大きく, 日射量の大きい季節に育苗された苗では, 前者ほど大きい差を示さない.3 炭水化物または乾物増加量の最大の値を示す葉の位置は, 苗令が大きくなるにしたがつて上位に移りかわる.この傾向はトマト苗の方がキウリ苗より顕著である.4 炭水化物または乾物増加量の最大の値を示す葉の位置(Y)と展開葉数(X)との問に次式の関係を認めた.トマト苗ではY=0.984X-1, 644 キウリ苗では Y=0.925X-1, 564
There was the close relation between the weight of the dry matter and that of carbohydrate or increment of carbohydrate in the total leaves ranging from a seedling, which were consist of the leaves ranging from the oldest to the youngest one. When the repre-sentative one was selected, the weight of its dry matter or total carbohydrate content had the close correlation with those of total leaves. The repre-sefntative leaf was determined by the following ormulas of regression coefficient. Y=0.984x-1.644 in tomato Y=0.925x-1.564 in cucumber (Note) Y : the position of the representative leaf showing the maximum weight of the dry matter or total carbohydrate. X: Number of leaves. Leaves of tomato seedlings were less active in producing carbohydrates when young, and attained the highest activity at full maturity. This activity declined with increasing age. In cucumber seedlings declining of this activity was very slower than that of tomato seedlings.
