内容 1 苗床の施肥量を変えてトマト苗の良否と組成分の関係を1954年から1957年に亘つて試験した.2 苗の素質は定植後の生育及び収量に迄影響した.3 苗床の施肥の適量は3.3m^2当りN37.5〜75.0g, P_2O_5 112.5〜225.0g, K_2O 37.5〜56.3gであつた.4 窒素を多施すると非蛋白態窒素は増加するが, 蛋白態窒素は一定以上増加しなかつた.全糖の蓄積は逆に減じC/Nも低下した.5 窒素不足は蛋白態, 非蛋白態窒素も共に減じ, 全糖含有量が多くなりC/Nが著しく高くなつた.6 苗の硬軟には水分, 粗繊維は直接関係しなかつた.7 燐酸が欠乏すると苗は紫色になつた.又全糖が異常に蓄積し, K_2O, Nの吸収を減じた.8 窒素と燐酸は葉に多く, 加里と全糖は茎に多かつた.9 良苗の組成分はN約4.5%, P_2O_5 1%前後, K_2O 8〜9%, 全糖16〜18%, 粗繊維15〜17%, C/N 1.5〜1.6, 水分93〜94%であつた.1954年度の研究は島田永生, 川上準一両氏の協力を得たものでありここに厚く感謝の意を表する.本報告の要旨は1955年, 1957年, 1958年に亘つて「蔬菜類苗の栄養生理的研究」と題して日本土壌肥料学会大会に於いて講演した.
1) Experiments were conducted during 1954-1957 to find the relations between the growth after transplanting in the field and the constituents of tomato seedlings which were raised at various fertilized beds. 2) The growth and yields of tomato plants were influenced remarkably by the character of seedlings. 3) The excellent growth of seedlings was observed by the application of 37.5-75.0g N, 112.5-225.0g P_2O_5, and 37.5-56.3g K_2O per 3.3m^2 of bed area. 4) In case of higher application of nitrogen to the bed, the content of non-protein-nitrogen of seedlings increased, but that of protein-nitrogen did not. 5) The content of protein-nitrogen and nonprotein-nitrogen decreased and total sugar content and C/N ratio increased in case of lower application of nitrogen to the bed. 6) No correlation between hard or soft appearance and moisture or crude fibre content was observed in the seedlings. 7) Nitrogen and phosphorus were found more in leaves than in stems, but total sugar and potassium in stems. 8) The lower application of phosphorus changed the color of seedlings into purple and increased remarkably the content of total sugar and decreased the uptake of potassium and nitrogen. 9) The constituents of the seedlings which brought about the excellent growth and yields were about 4.5% N, 1% P_2O_5, 8-9% K_2O, 16-180tal sugar, 15-17?ude fibre, 93-94Invalid or incomplete multibyte or wide characteroisture and 1.5-1.6 C/N.
