内容 1.本報ではNAA処理による早生温州ミカン幼果の離層形成について明らかにした.2.NAA処理によって幼果果梗部分に離層の形成が認められ, 幼果の離脱を誘起した.3.幼果の脱落には, 果梗部と幼果との間の細胞に間隙が生じ, この状態で幼果は容易に機械的な力で脱落しその跡は不規則になった.4.幼果の離脱にあたっては, 果盤部が隆起する現象が認められ, 幼果が離脱した果盤(梗)部細胞には肥大が認められた.

The relation of NAA treatment to the formation of abscission layer in young fruits and fruits drop of cv. Wase Unshiu was discussed and reported as follows: By the treatment of NAA, abscission layer was formed in the peduncle part of the young fruit and abscission of the young fruits occurred. In the young fruit abscission, the tissues at the disk of fruits and peduncle were protruded and enlergement of cells in these parts was clearty observed. In this case, a large intercellular space was developed by destroying cell membranes in the tissue between fruit disk and peduncle part. In case the intercellular space was found to occur in the cells of the peduncle part, young fruit could be dropped easily by the mechnical forces. The cells without intercellular space in the peduncle part were broken and misshapened by dropping the young fruits.
