内容 1.夏期の2ヶ月間休耕されるハウス内土壤の除塩を目的としたイネ科飼料作物の短期栽培について検討した.2.トウモロコシ, ソルゴー, シコクビエ, ローズグラスの4草種を4段階の塩類濃度(I-0.87m〓/cm, II-1.64m〓/cm, III-2.29m〓/cm, IV-2.84m〓/cm)下でポット栽培して, その生育・収量を比較した.3.播種後55日目の乾物収量はトウモロコシ>ソルゴー>シコクビエ=ローズグラスの関係を示した.濃度段階ではIIIの濃度の収量が高く, その他の濃度間では収量に有意な差はみられなかった.4.このことからトウモロコシが除塩を目的とする夏期短期栽培に最も適した草種と考えられた.また, 4草種とも果菜類に障害のあらわれるような高濃度下で最大の収量を示すことがわかった.

The availability of growing forage grasses to remove the salts from salt accumulated soil in plastic greenhouse during short-term of fallow within two months in summer was examined. On 15th July 1977, four grass species-corn, sorgo, African millet, and rhodesgrass-were sown in pots of soil at four levels of salt concentrations treated with different amounts of Ca(NO_3)_2, MgSO_4, and K_2HPO_4-the values of electric conductivity were 0.87, 1.64, 2.29, and 2.84m〓/cm for I, II, III, and IV salt concentrations respectively-. These plants were grown in the plastic greenhouse. Plant growth was recorded and harvests were made at 40th, 55th, and 70th day after sowing. The 55th day after sowing, dry matter yield showed the ranking order: corn>sorgo>African millet=rhodesgrass. Each of the four grasses yielded the highest herbage under the salt concentration of III. No significant difference in yield was detected among the other concentrations. From these results, it is suggested that these grasses used show the maximum yields only under the high salt concentrations where most of the fruit vegetables may suffer from the salt injuries. It seems that corn is the most suitable grass species for short-term culture of summer in plastic greenhouse from viewpont of dry matter production. Results of chemical analysis will be described in the following paper.
