Fusarium, RhizoctoniaおよびPythiumの混合接種のキュウリ苗立枯病発生に及ぼす影響   :   Combination Effect of Fusarium, Pythium, and Rhizoctonia on the Incidence of Damping-off of Cucumber Seedlings

内容 キュウリ苗立枯病を引き起すFusarium oxysporum schlichtendahl f. sp. cucumerinum Owen, Rhizoctonia solani KuhnおよびPythium aphanidermatum (Edson) Fitzapatrickの3種の病原菌を供試し, 1種のみの単独接種と2種を組合わせた混合接種における発病状態と比較した.F.o.c.とR.s.およびP.a.とR.s.の組合わせた混合接種における発芽後立枯の発生は, 単独接種におけるより少なく, とくに, R.s.による発生は低下した.F.o.c.とP.a.との組合わせにおいては, F.o.c.による発芽後立枯の発生は単独接種におけるよりやや少なかったが, P.a.による立枯は単独, 混合間に差がみられなかった.いずれの組合わせにおいても, 2種の病原菌による発芽後立枯の和は, 優位を示した1種の病原菌による立枯とほぼ同程度であった.発芽前立枯はP. a.とR.s.の組合わせた混合接種において多発し, 単独接種におけるより多かった.F.o.c.とR.s.およびP.a.とR.s.の組合わせにおける発芽後立枯の発生は, 土壌中におけるそれら病原菌の生息密度に対応した.しかし, F.o.c.とP.a.の組合わせにおいては病原菌の生息密度と発芽後立枯発生との間には対応関係が見出されなかった.混合接種における発芽後立枯の病徴発現までの日数は, 供試2種の中間であった.
Preemergence and postemergence damping-off of cucumber seedlings were studied with soils artificially infested singly or in combination with Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. cucumerunum, Pythum aphanidermatum, and Rhizoctonia solani to assess activities of these pathogens in inciting the disease. When R. solani was inoculated in combination with F. oxysporum f. sp. cucumerinum or with P. aphanodermatum, the postemergence damping-off was less severe than those inoculated singly with any of these pathogens. Damping-off due to R. solani supressed to a significant extend. When F. oxysporum f. sp. cucumerinum and P. aphanidermatum were added together to soils, there was essentially no change in the severity of damping-off due to P. apanidermatum, while the postemergence damping-off caused by F. oxysporum f. sp. cucumerinum decreased slightly. In either combination, there was no marked difference in the sum of seedling damping-off between single and mixture-inoculated soils. Preemergence damping-off was severe in soils inoculated with R. solani and P. aplianidermatum. Postemergence damping-off in soils inoculated with F. Oxysporum f. sp. cucumerinum and R. solani or R. solani and R. solani or R. solani and P. aphanidermatum in combination reflected the propagule density of these pathogens in soils. Population of P. aphanidermatum in soil was affected by presence of F. oxysporum f. sp. cucumerinum, although postemergence damping-off was not significantly affected. Incubation time of symptom development in plants inoculated with the mixture was intermediate between the plants inoculated with F. oxysporum f. sp. cucumerinum and those with P. aphanidermatum.
