内容 芝草用生育抑制剤の選抜試験を1979年から1984年の6ヶ年にわたって実施した.芝草用茎葉伸長抑制剤として, EL500, EO188, KUH833, PP333を選抜し, 効果を認めた.PP333は, 10^<-7>〜10^<-6>Mで根の伸長に対して促進, 発生本数に対して増加の傾向を示した.BAP, NS80は, 根の伸長促進, 発生本数増加の傾向を認めた.又, 再生におよぽす効果も認められる.芝草草種により対薬剤感受性を異にした.
The purpose of this paper is the application of the plant growth retardants to control of turfgrass cultivation (Table. 5). The effects of 7 plant growth regulators were examined in turfgrass through years 1979 to 1984 (Table. 1). The results obtained are as follows: Recommendable growth retardants in turfgrass have been selected by now. Effects of EL 500, EO 188, KUH 833 and PP 333 on the growth in retardation of the turfgrass were most striking (Table. 3, 4). As concerns the effects of the PP 333 treatments on the growth in elongation of the roots in the first stage of germination, it was discerned that it promoted elongation of the roots and increased in the number of roots at the concentration of between 10^<-7> M and 10^<-6> M. When treated with BAP after cutting the roots artificially, it was discerned that it promoted growth in elongation and inceased in the number of roots. It was observed that the sensitivity of the plant growth retardants to the various kinds of turfgrass used in this experiment differs according to species.
