内容 マサ土法面の崩壊機構を明らかにするため, 本報では, 剪断強さと水分特性との関係を検討し, さらに, 含水比(w)が崩壊に至る臨界点付近でのコンシステンシー特性を求め, 各指標点における水分状態をwとpF値で整理した.また, 土質安定剤の添加がマサ土の締固め特性並びに強度特性に与える影響についても若干検討した.得られた結果は以下のとおりである.1.締固め曲線は典型的な一つ山型の曲線形状を示し, ゼロ空気間隙曲線に沿って上昇している.土質安定剤の添加は最大乾燥密度(ρdmax)を低下させ, 最適含水比(Wopt)を増大させる.2.粘着力(CCD)はWの増加とともに増大し, ρdmaxを経た後で最大値を示し, その後急に減少している.3.剪断抵抗角(φCD)はWが12.5%, Pd=1.65g/cm^3で最大値を示し, 以後Wの増加とともに減少していて, ρdの増減とは必ずしも対応していない.4.剪断強さ(s)はおおむねWopt付近で最大値を示す.5.土質安定剤の添加はマサ土の強度定数CCDおよびφCDを増大させる効果が認められる.6.スランプ試験およびフォールコーン試験により求めたコンシステンシー特性にはいくつかの興味ある結果が得られた.
Generally the decomposed granite soils (masa soil) are classified as a kind of the sandy soils. In this study, following experiments were conducted for clarifying the mechanism of decomposition of masa soil. The relationships between the shearing strength and the soil moisture have been examined through the direct shear test. The characteristics of consistency of masa soils at the critical point of failure were investigated through the slump test and the fall-cone test. The water constants at the changing point of the strength and the consistency were arranged by means of the water content by weight and pF value. The effect of soil stabilizer given to the masa soils have been investigated through the compaction test and the direct shear test. The results obtained are summarized as follows: 1) The compaction curve shows a typical shape of zero air void curve with a peak. addition of soil stabilizer, the maximum dry density (ρdmax) decreased and the optimum moisture content (Wopt) increased. 2) The cohesion (CCD) increased in proportion to the soil water content and reached the maximum soon after the ρdmax, then it decreased drastically. 3) The angle of shearing resistance (φCD) reached the maximum when the moisture content (w) attained to 12.5%, after then it decreased with the increment of w. 4) The maximum value of the shearing strength was obtained in the vicinity of Wopt. 5) By the addition of soil stabilizer, the strength constants, CCD and φCD were increased. 6) Some interesting results on the characteristics of consistency were obtained through the slump test and the fall-cone test.
