千葉県におけるシクラメン葉腐れ細菌病に関する調査   :   Studies for Bacterial Leaf Rot of Cyclamen at Chiba Prefecture.

内容 千葉県で発生しているシクラメン葉腐れ細菌病について検討した.第1回目の移植後のシクラメン苗について, 外部病徴, 内部病徴, 生重を比較したところ, この段階ですでに導管組織の褐変を生じている苗が平均56.8%あった.千葉県各地からシクラメン種子を分譲頂き, 種子伝染についてin vitroで検討した結果, 葉腐れ細菌病による発病は平均11.7%であった.また糸状菌による立ち枯れや不発芽も観察された.種子の断面を光学顕微鏡で観察したところ, 種皮と胚乳組織は密に接していた.SEMによる観察から, 種子の表面ではほとんどの場合嚢状構造物が壊れ, 多数の微生物が繁殖していた.種子消毒試験の結果, 抗菌抗細菌性抗生物質により対照区に比べて発病率と発病指数は軽減されたが, 濃度が高まると種子に生理障害を起こした.千葉県で発生しているシクラメン葉腐れ細菌病は, 種子伝染により発生が継続していることが考えられた.
Bacterial rot of cyclamen occurred in Chiba prefecture was studied. For field examination, external and internal symptom and fresh weight of plants were compared among the seedlings which had been transplanted once. 57.30f them were discolored in vascular bundles. But there were no difference on the fresh weight of these plants. As this disease was supposed to be seed-borne, the seeds selected from all over the prefecture were incubated in vitro to detect the seed borne disease. Bacterial rot was recorded as 11.727777711740f these collected seeds and fungal infection was also occurred. The seed was prepared for thin sections and examined for their structure. Seed coat was decorated with bulb-like structure and were layered very closely with endosperm. Ultrastructual observations by SEM discovered that the bulb-like structure decorated on the seed coat was almost destroyed and many kinds of microorganisms were propagated around there. Treatment of antibacterial antibiotics was reduced these disease incidence and these disease index less than control. However treatment with anthbiotics at a higher concentration caused physiological disturbance of seeds. It was suggested that Bacterial rot of cyclamen has been epidemic by seed-borne at Chiba prefecture.
