内容 The purpose of this study was to examine young children's references to thoughts and intentions in pretend play. The results showed age-related changes concerning mental references. Although 5-year-olds referred thoughts more frequently compared to that of 3-year-olds, 5-year-olds referred less frequently intensions compared to that of 3-year-olds. 3-year-olds tend to insist on their plan rather forcibly using terms of intentions, on the other hand, 5-year-olds tend to talk their ideas of the play using terms of thoughts at pretend play.
