内容 This study examined the development of diachronic thinking and concept of human development during early childhood. First, 5 (N=18) and 7 (N=28) years old children asked to draw a human figure. Then, they asked to draw it as they drew at younger age and they also asked to draw it as they will draw at older age. Both 5 and 7 years of age subjects changed their drawings from past to now and future. That is, past figures are lower in height than now and future figures, and they also drew by lower level qualitative schemas than now and future figures. This result suggested even 5 years old children understand the developmental change which reflect on human figure drawing.
